1. Promoters

The promoters are Neil O’Gorman, Mehran Zareian, and Geraldine Zareian, licensed real estate salespeople with Barfoot & Thompson Browns Bay, 35 Clyde Road, Browns Bay, Auckland (“the Promoters”).

This competition is conducted by the above-named Promoters and not by Barfoot & Thompson Ltd as a corporate entity. All enquiries should be directed to the Promoters via email or phone numbers available online

2. Eligibility

• Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.

• Employees, or agents of Barfoot & Thompson Ltd and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

• Entry is void where prohibited by law.

 

3. Entry Period

• Entries open on 16 October 2025 and close at 11:59 pm on 6 December 2025 (NZT).

• Entries received after the closing time will not be included in the draw.

 

4. How to Enter

• To enter, participants must either:
  (a) scan the competition QR code, or
  (b) visit the provided link and submit the online entry form.

• Each entry must include the entrant’s full name, email address, and home address.

• Only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

• Incomplete or illegible entries may not be accepted.

 

5. Prize and Draw Details

• The prize is one “Ultimate Summer Sorted Beach Kit”, which includes Foldable Beach Trolley, Folding Beach Mat, Instant Up Shelter, 2 x Beach Towel, Sand Castle Building Kit, Beach Umbrella, Giant inflatable Beach Ball, 2 x Bodyboards, 8L Cooler, Beach Cricket Set, 2 beach chairs

• The prize is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and cannot be substituted except at the Promoters’ discretion for a prize of equal or greater value.

• The winner will be drawn at random on 7 December 2025 from all valid entries received.

• The draw will be conducted by the Promoters, and the result is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

 

6. Winner Notification and Redraw

• The winner will be contacted by email or phone using the contact details supplied.

• If the winner cannot be reached or does not respond within 24 hours of the first contact attempt, the Promoters reserve the right to redraw the prize and select a new winner.

• The Promoters may require proof of age, identity, and eligibility before awarding the prize.

 

7. Publicity and Marketing Consent

By entering, participants agree that:

• The Promoters may use their name, city/town, and photograph for publicity and promotional purposes (including on social media) without further compensation.

• The Promoters may contact entrants with newsletters, market updates, and other promotional material from Barfoot & Thompson Browns Bay. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time.

• The Promoters may publish photos of the prize handover and related material online and in marketing communications.

 

8. Privacy and Data Use

• Personal information collected will be used solely for administering this promotion and for future marketing (consent is given by entering the draw and the entrant can unsubscribe at any time).

• Information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007.

• Entrants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their information by contacting the Promoters.

• Personal details will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.

• Data will be stored securely and deleted when no longer needed for the purpose collected.

 

9. Liability and Disclaimers

• The Promoters accept no responsibility for late, lost, damaged, or misdirected entries, or for any technical issues that may prevent entry.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoters and Barfoot & Thompson Ltd are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury (including indirect or consequential loss) suffered as a result of participation in the promotion or use of the prize.

• Nothing in these terms affects rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable consumer laws.

• The winner is responsible for any costs, taxes, or expenses associated with claiming or using the prize.

 

10. Withdrawal, Cancellation, and Variation

• The Promoters reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition or these terms at any time or if circumstances beyond their control make it necessary.

• The Promoters may, at their discretion, disqualify any entrant and/or any entrant who tampers with the entry process, acts fraudulently, or breaches these Terms & Conditions.

• The first draw is final. A redraw will only occur if the winner cannot be contacted as per clause 6.

 

11. Force Majeure

If for any reason beyond the Promoters’ control (including natural disaster, public health restriction, or technical failure) the competition cannot be run as planned, the Promoters reserve the right to cancel, modify, or postpone the promotion without liability.

Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
